Course Program:
This discipline brings a presentation about the transformations that occurred throughout geological time and tells how the appearance of the biosphere and man interfere with the planet. It addresses the following topics: Time-concept, Geological Time and historical time, Evolution of the planet in time, Changes in the atmosphere and hydrosphere; The evolution of the biosphere and its interactions with the planet; Man and his evolution as a geological agent: the Quaternary and the Holocene. The man as a geological agent. Anthropogenesis and technogenesis; Anthropic landscapes, case studies.
